ella is a very expressive toddler. she enjoys sharing with us her likes and dislikes.
we find her imagination keeping her busy as she talks to her dolls or pretends that her friends and family are with her, striking up long conversations that are surprisingly intricate and responsive to her daily activity.

she enjoys daycare although on most mornings she posing the question.
"is there school today?" hoping to hear the words no, and when she doesn't she protests and attempts to convince us that the school is closed.

ella has swimming lessons twice a week and loves jumping into the water. but she is reluctant to dunk her head into the water. she can float with water wings for short moments in the kiddie pool and knows how to blow bubbles in the water without consuming a mouth full.

ella has since been to gotenburg sweden, london england and to toronto twice this summer. she enjoys spending time with her family and gets very upset when she has to say by to her grandparents. but embraces her time on the plane and being able to say that 'i going home to calgary with mama and baba and then i can play with my toys?'
