A week of swimming....

We are so proud of Ella as she has conquered her fear of submerging her head underwater. She loves to swim and learned this week to swim forward on here own. Thanks to her ISR swimming instructor. The goal of these intensive (10 minute lessons, 5 days a week for 4-6 weeks in the early morning) is to give Ella survival skills in the water should she ever fall in the pool without supervision. The first few lessons were hard, as Ella was so scared and was screaming "NO!" when told to swim to the instructors hand or bar, to "can I do it again?"

Today the teacher taught us how to practice with Ella. Here is a short clip of her swimming to Peter. We have lots, but they are kinda long.
