Ella 4.25 yrs old and Rylyn 2.75 months old....
We have been busy with trying to survive. Rylyn is growing like a weed and at 2.75 months old weighs in about 15 pounds. Making it a work out to carrying her around in the car seat carrier and just around the house.
Rylyn loves to be held and cuddled and requires a lot of attention, partially due to her umbilical hernia (or so we think) so hopefully after we see the Pediatric Surgeon in April we will have a better idea if she needs surgery or not. Otherwise Rylyn is starting to coo and gurggle and smile when we talk to her. Ella is great at calming Rylyn with her creative songs.
Ella is adjusting to having to share her parents and is going through a tough time,
" I don't like Rylyn, but that doesn't mean I don't love her, I love her all the time."
When she pouts around the house or gets angry her response to us is: "I am just grumpy because I didn't get enough sleep last night, Rylyn kept me up." Hmmm I wonder where she got that excuse from.
Other than that Ella loves to play, dance, sing and make up songs and stories. She has little interest at this moment to read or write and we trying hard not to push her and compare her to her cousin and friends that are in Toronto. She does love books and wants to learn how to play the violin (ouch our ears, we are trying to direct her to the piano).
Peter is pushing to write his thesis and is in the lab everyday. Joyce is trying to get more than 4 hours of sleep a day and take care of the girls so that Peter can finish his thesis. We hope the weather will get better soon and look forward to bike rides and hikes with the girls.
In a little dress from the Chungs showing off her muscular legs!
