happy new year everyone

We just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year. Sorry about the lack of posts lately. As usually we are busy with everyday life.

We were back in Toronto for Christmas. We flew into Toronto on the day of a big snow storm (luckily we did not experience any delays) and we flew out on the day of a snow storm (we had a 1.5hr delay.

Ella had a great time with family and friends, but she didn't sleep well until we got back to calgary (which meant no one slept well until we got back to calgary). We arrived back in our own home at 2am (sorry tim for keep you up late) and everyone was tired the next morning (mom had to get up before 7am). So dad stayed home until ella woke up.

For the new year, ella is banned from sleeping anywhere but her own bed. She did well for the first night (due to exhaustion) and mom has been taking her back to bed twice a night.
