Ella is very vocal, this is a video clip of some of the things she can say (however we can't get the clip to run)
mom: what's your name
ella: Ehla
mom in chinese: how old are you?
ella: (raises one finger)
mom: A is for?
ella: appo
mom: B is for?
ella: b-b-babee
mom: C is for?
ella: c-carr voom voom

Ella also loves the song from sound of music - doh a deer. so much that she can ask for it by name, except it sounds more like "a deer".. She can tell us when she is full by patting her tummy and saying "bauw bauw" (chinese for full)














Ella is starting to attempt to take a few steps on her own, but her main form of transportation is crawling - and man, can she crawl fast. She is absorbing new things everyday and we are enjoying our time together.

Grandma Wong taught Ella how to stack and remove the rings from this toy. Every time she places a ring on the stand she says "bie" which means place in chinese.
