Ella's Stats

Ella at one year now weighs: 18lbs 3 oz, is 28.5 inches tall. She sits at the 40% for height and 10% for weight (based on the average albertan)

She is now vaccinated against, Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Chicken Pox, and some strains of pneumococcus. We went for her shots today and she did great. She had two needles in her right arm and one on her left arm. The flu shot wasn't too bad, but the other vaccines were more painful, apparently they sting when the serum is injected. However as a true Tang, she was a tough cookie and was fine within seconds after her shots.

We now wait and watch for any reactions. For the vaccines reactions can occur between 4 to 42 days after her shots, and 6 to 12 hours for the flu shot. Unfortunately she gets another booster shot for the flu in a month.

Ella is now resting and playing at home, in anticipation for her birthday party on saturday.
