where we are to date.

Hi Everyone
Ella is now 8 months and 10 days old. She is so much fun to play with and loves to eat solids.
Here is a list of the things Ella can do.
- roll over onto her tummy and lift her upper body up
- crawl backwards and kinda crawl forward
- she eats baby food now, and some solids, like soft banana, plum, peaches, pieces of bread, cheerios and some rice - she loves to bit into things
- she has her two lower teeth
- she can say ba ba when she sees peter (she says ba ba and da da to everything too)
- give us a kiss when we ask her too
- say something that resembles 'hi' and wave (especially when she sees herself in the mirror)
- make really stinky diapers
- scream directly into the monitor when she wants us to come get her
- and much more

Peter and I are doing well. We are a bit tired but never tired of caring for our little girl. She is so good, and hasn't been much of a hassle at all. She is well behaved in public, and doesn't drool from teething (yet) however she has stranger anxiety. oh well. We will be training her to not be so attached to me since I will be returning to work in September, but we will tell you more as the time comes.

We are looking forward to having my inlaws visit this weekend, and peter's mom back in October to help us out and my mom in November. We are blessed to have two loving grandmas.
